June 3, 2022 in Aktau held a conference under the auspices of the Ministry of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources on "Responsible Business for Sustainable Development" with the participation of ecologists from more than 180 industrial enterprises of the country and international organizations.
During the event, participants learned about advanced technological solutions to improve energy efficiency and reduce the burden on the environment, as well as existing opportunities to offset the carbon footprint through the implementation of "green" projects.
In addition, during the conference a ceremony of awarding ecologists of various enterprises took place. Badges "For Contribution to Ecology", certificates of honor and letters of gratitude were awarded to ecologists of KazMunayGas Group, including an employee of Ural Oil and Gas LLP - Tulegenova Indira Serikovna (Senior Engineer of HSE Service), whose contribution to sustainable development was noted by the medal " Best in Environmental Science ".
Presenting the awards, the Minister of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources S. Brekeshev thanked all the specialists for their responsible attitude to environmental protection.
