On June 29, 2024, a regional environmental campaign "Taza Olke" took place in the West Kazakhstan Region as part of the national campaign "Taza Kazakhstan," initiated by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. This campaign aims to address the environmental challenges of the regions and the country as a whole.
At the invitation of the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Management of the West Kazakhstan Region, LLP "Ural Oil and Gas" actively participated in this campaign to clean the forested area of the suburbs of Uralsk from household and other waste.
The cleanup event was held in the "Samal-2" neighborhood, specifically in the forested area beyond the Atameken camp, near the House of Disabled Persons. Alongside the Department of Ecology of the West Kazakhstan Region, the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Management of the West Kazakhstan Region, as well as community activists and volunteers, around 25 of our employees took part in the campaign. The aim of this environmental initiative is to enhance the state of the environment and ecology in our region, while fostering a sense of responsibility and care for the nature of our homeland.
For our company, the cleanup event is a fantastic opportunity not only to help maintain cleanliness in our communal spaces but also to strengthen team spirit, enjoy the outdoors, and get to know one another better.
